Steven Wilson returned to Mexico City for a sold out show at the Teatro Metropolitan on 14th May. A gallery of backstage, soundcheck and live show photos by Susana Moyaho can be seen below.

Steven Wilson’s South American tour comes to an close tomorrow evening in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Steven will be making several festival appearances over the summer, details can be seen here.

South America Tour Update from Steven Wilson

The North American leg of the tour came to an end with last night with a fantastic show in Los Angeles with Chad Wackerman rejoining us on drums and totally blowing everyone away! Now we are looking forward to forthcoming shows in Mexico City, Santiago – Chile, Buenos Aires – Argentina and Sao Paulo – Brazil, and to meeting the incredibly passionate South American fans again.

In the meantime thanks to all those who attended the shows in North America and Canada, and to all the fans on Facebook who have now taken the official page past the “100,000 likes” milestone!

SW ‘On The Tracks’ Radio Bremen special

Steven recently took part in “On the Tracks“, a 2 hour radio special on his music for Radio Bremen in Germany. As well as including some of his own songs, Steven was asked to select tracks by other artists that most influenced the path of his own music.

The show will be broadcast on Sunday 12th May between 22.00-00.00 CET.

New European tour dates announced

More European dates for Steven Wilson’s ‘The Raven That Refused To Sing’ Tour have been announced. Events are scheduled to take place during October and November in the UK, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Poland.

Yellow Hedgerow Dreamscape CD reissue

A newly remastered and repackaged CD edition of the very earliest recordings that SW made under the name of Porcupine Tree is now available. “Yellow Hedgerow Dreamscape” is exclusive to the Headphone Dust online store.

The music was originally released on cassette tapes in 1989-91, then compiled and reissued as a limited CD in 1994, and later on vinyl with one track substituted. This new CD edition stays with the revised 1999 vinyl track listing, and contains over 75 minutes of music. Because of the increasing demand for out of print early Porcupine Tree releases, a decision was made to make this new edition available exclusively from Headphone Dust, and has freshly remastered it from the original sources. All the same please lower your sonic and musical expectations for these very early experiments!

Featuring new artwork and design by Carl Glover, the disc comes in a 6 panel digipack and also includes a booklet with sleeve notes and information about the original cassette releases.

In-store performance and signing at Amoeba Records

Steven and the band will be performing a rare instore performance at Amoeba Records, the world’s largest independent record store, in San Francisco on Wednesday 8th May at 6pm, followed by a signing. The store is located at 1885 Haight Street, hope to see you there! And a reminder that the following day, Thursday 9th May, the band play the Fillmore in the same city.

Special edition Record Store Day tour t-shirt

To celebrate Record Store Day and Steven Wilson’s 12″ Picture Disc release of the ‘Luminol’ & ‘The Watchmaker’ demos, there will be a special edition of the main tour shirt with the regular glow-in-the-dark Moon design on the front but with a different back image.

These will be on sale at the Washington D.C. show (which falls on Record Store Day) with any left over being available at subsequent shows. Tour dates can be found here.

‘The Watchmaker’ Live in Neu-Isenberg, Germany

An exclusive video of Steven Wilson’s ‘The Watchmaker’ recorded live in Neu-Isenberg, Germany on 23rd March 2013 is now available to view. The video was directed and edited by Bernhard Baran.

Performing with Steven are Adam Holzman – keyboards, Guthrie Govan – lead guitar, Marco Minnemann – drums, Nick Beggs – bass guitar / backing vocals and Theo Travis – flute / sax.
