With the album only a week away from release, reviews for “Hand. Cannot. Erase.” have been appearing online and in magazines, with the album receiving very high praise:

In Germany, it’s album of the month in Eclipsed magazine, who say it’s “one more shining jewel in the discography of Steven Wilson. Modern, disturbing, brilliant!” and award it 9/10. Meanwhile Metal Hammer​ award it 6/7 and describe it as “another masterpiece”, Music Express describe the album as “…atmospheric, dark, and disturbing but at the same time light-footed and euphoric…”, while both Rock Hard and Plattentests.de​ (9/10) make it album of the month.

Elsewhere it receives 9.5/10 in the Greek edition of Rock Hard, a rating of 4.8/5 on US website FDRMX​, and 9/10 on UK website The Monolith.

The Hand. Cannot. Erase. tour starts in less than a month, and already several dates of the European leg are sold out, with most of the others not far behind. To date the shows that are sold out are Edinburgh, Koln, Stuttgart, Utrecht, Frankfurt, Milan, Rome, and Munich.
