To the Bone has landed as the highest new entry at number 3 in the Official UK Charts this week, and at number 2 in the German album chart, which is incredible. It was number 1 for most of the week in the UK, but in the end it couldn’t quite hold off the relentless march of Ed Sheeran and then “The King” also overtook it by less than 100 sales on the last day. Anyway bronze medal it is, which is still amazing, thank you so much to everyone that picked up the album over the last 7 days, wherever you are. Chart positions may seem like they have nothing to do with music, but on the other hand the high profile of the album has led to a lot more interest from UK media (mostly really good, but some of it a bit silly it must be said!), which I do hope will lead to some new people discovering To the Bone, and maybe a whole world of music that exists outside of the mainstream.
