A fantastic collection of Lasse Hoile’s artwork and photography will be exhibited at the Noorderlicht Photography Gallery inGröningen, Netherlands.The exhibition opens on 10th December 2016, and runs through to 29th January 2017, showcasing almost 80 selected images from the past 16 years, most of which were created for Steven’s projects through the years, mostly for Porcupine Tree and SW’s solo work. Many of these images have never been exhibited before.

From the gallery website: “Lasse Hoile taps into the human psyche. He creates stark depictions of reality that often convey a sense of emotional struggle. Faces are wrapped, hidden, obscured. Lone, distorted figures travel through a desolate landscape. Vintage-style erotica is given a shamanistic touch. Seduction and repulsion go hand in hand. Hoile’s cinematic language pulls the viewer in, and then cleverly leaves us to our own devices.”
