SW’s Top Albums of 2012

SWNews

Below you can see Steven Wilson’s list of his favourite albums of 2012. Steven Wilson’s third solo album ‘The Raven That Refused To Sing (and other stories)’ was recently announced, and you can see the album cover and tracklist here. Video clips of the band recording the album, as well as a live performance of opening track Luminol can be found on SW’s official YouTube channel.

“For me this was a really strong year for new music, one of the best I can remember in a long while, so I’ve been pretty selective about what I included to keep the list down to only 15 choices (and of course I’m sure there were many great albums that I missed out on hearing altogether). It was also great for reissues and archive releases, so I’ll do another list with my favourites of these later on” – SW
