My spatial audio remix of Sister Sledge’s disco / funk / soul masterpiece from 1979, We Are Family was released on 13th June 2023, fully overseen and approved by original producer Nile Rodgers – Featuring several classic singles, Nile says that of the various albums produced by CHIC for themselves and others, “pound for pound, I think We Are Family is our best album hands down”. Not gonna disagree with that!
